Featured Products
- Cyclic AMP TR-FRET kit, 1000 tests – This kit is designed to detect and quantitatively measure the amount of cyclic AMP (cAMP) present in cell-based assay systems. A europium (EU) labeled monoclonal anti-cAMP antibody (donor) is paired with a fluorescently labeled cAMP analog (Acceptor), and in the absence of any endogenous cAMP, will produce a time-resolved energy transfer signal at 665 nm when excited at 340 nm. If cAMP accumulates in the well due to the activation of cellular adenylyl cyclase, this cAMP will compete with the acceptor and will inhibit the formation of the labeled Donor/Acceptor complex thereby decreasing the amount of the energy transfer signal produced. The overall drop in signal is inversely proportional to the amount of cAMP accumulated.
- SureLight® Europium Amine-Reactive Labeling Kit – SureLight Europium Amine-Reactive Labeling Kit is intended for labeling of molecules with europium through an isothiocyanate reaction to be used in the construction of FRET, QRET and Solid Phase Separation assay formats.
- SureLight® Glow – Firefly Luciferase Cell Viability Assay – The SureLight® Glow firefly luciferase cell viability assay provides a homogeneous and highly sensitive method for quantifying ATP, an indicator of cell viability, in cell cultures. The assay generates a stable, glow-type luminescent signal directly proportional to the amount of viable cells present in the cell culture. SureLight® Glow meets or exceeds the specifications and performance of leading competitors at a greater than 40% cost savings.

Cell Line Labeling
Columbia Biosciences has developed a unique expertise in genetic modification of primary human T lymphocytes. In these experiments, desired cell population is purified, expanded and transduced with high titer lentiviral vectors carrying the customer’s selected gene of interest. After transductions, cells are expanded further, tested for gene of interest expression and shipped to the customer as live ready-to-use cultures. Depending on the downstream application, genes of interest may include reporter genes (luciferase and/or fluorescent proteins), chimeric T-cell receptors and cytokines.
Protein Purification
Provide us with your proteins and we’ll do the rest.
Columbia Biosciences will utilize its expertise in protein chemistry, analytical chemistry and functional assays to meet your needs.
Using ion exchange, HIC, SEC, HAP and affinity chromatography, we can isolate proteins derived from natural sources, such as antibodies, enzymes, growth factors, DNA-binding proteins, membrane proteins, blood proteins or recombinant proteins expressed in different vectors.
Additionally, we can modify, label and/or conjugate your protein of interest with a wide selection of labels including fluorophores, small molecules and other proteins.
